How we use your personal data
The law on data protection allows us to process your data for certain reasons only. We process your data to comply with a legal requirement or in order to manage your treatment/healthcare. If the client is unsure as to why a particular piece of information is relevant to their treatment they must ask. Revive Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and Pilates will not share any personal information with anyone without the client's consent.
Data Security and storage
Revive Pelvic health Physiotherapy and Pilates has taken precautions to ensure data is treated securely and prevent it from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. Your data is stored securely. Data is stored electronically on our office computers which are password protected and regularly updated/backed up.
All personal information is stored on specific software (Writeupp) designed for recording healthcare notes and information. Clients personal information is secured by password and can not be accessed by anyone outside of Revive Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and Pilates. Any paper documents given to Revive by our clients is uploaded to their Write Up notes and returned to the client.
Legal Obligations
Under the UK General data protection regulation (UK GDPR) Revive Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and Pilates is required to hold information to fulfil its legal obligation and maintain accurate physiotherapy records. Revive Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and Pilates will keep records for 8 years in accordance with data protection/ GDPR laws.
